Materials

The reconstruction project of Vilhelma Nami uses only environmentally friendly materials. The exterior supporting walls of the building are built of bricks, but the interior walls have been constructed from cement building blocks. Floors are concrete covered structural metal piles.

The floors of the living area in each apartment are constructed of bleached oak, and wall details of teak and stone. The walls are rendered with lime, revealing the underlying historic brickwork here and there. The windows are wood covered metal frames. Natural fiber – linen, silk, velvet – is used for interior finishing and furniture. The exclusive designer lighting fixtures contain LED technology.
